Terms
These are the general terms for website work with Web Guy Mike. A professional website package. Any project-specific written agreement takes precedence.
Quotes and pricing
The standard package is $299 setup then $45/week, with a 6-month minimum term. Any work outside the standard package is explained and agreed before it begins.
Revisions and scope
The build includes up to 10 pages and three revision rounds. The ongoing plan includes one small batch of website changes each month, such as wording, photos, services or business details. Extra pages, larger design work, new functionality, extra revision rounds or additional updates are priced separately and agreed before work starts.
Ownership
You own your domain and can transfer it when you cancel. The website is provided as a managed service while the weekly plan is active. If you want to take a transferable copy of the website elsewhere, a $799 transfer fee applies.
Cancellation
After the 6-month minimum term, you may cancel the managed service. When it ends, website hosting, management, security, updates and use of the managed website end. Your domain remains yours and can be transferred.
Refunds
If you change your mind before any build work has started, your $299 setup payment is refunded in full. Once work on your website has begun, the setup payment is non-refundable because it covers time already spent. Weekly service payments are not refunded for weeks already billed, but you can cancel future payments any time after the 6-month minimum term. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. To request a refund, email michael@webguymike.com.au.
