Website Design for Cleaners: What Great Looks Like
Cleaning is bought on price clarity and trust. Here's the layout that answers both before someone leaves the page.

Cleaning customers compare three or four websites in a couple of minutes, and they're looking for two things: roughly what it costs, and whether they'd be comfortable giving you a key. Everything in the design should serve those two questions.
The layout, top to bottom
- Hero. What you clean and where, plus a "Get a quote" button and a phone number.
- Services. Cards per service - regular home cleaning, bond cleans, end of lease, commercial, carpets, windows.
- Price guide. Even a from-price or hourly band. This is the single biggest difference between cleaning sites that convert and ones that don't.
- What's included. A room-by-room checklist. It removes the fear of a half-done job.
- Trust. Police-checked cleaners, insurance, own products and equipment, satisfaction guarantee.
- Reviews. Names and suburbs.
- Areas covered. Named suburbs.
- Quote form. Name, phone, suburb, type of clean, bedrooms.
Pages worth having
- Regular home cleaning
- Bond and end-of-lease cleaning
- Spring and deep cleans
- Office and commercial cleaning
- Airbnb and holiday-let turnovers
- Carpet and window cleaning
- Builders and post-renovation cleans
Bond cleaning deserves the most work. It's the highest-intent cleaning search in Australia, and the customer is usually on a deadline with a bond at stake.

Design choices that matter for cleaning
- Light, clean, uncluttered design. The site should feel like the result you're selling.
- Before-and-after photos. Nothing sells cleaning faster.
- Inclusion checklists on every service page. They also happen to answer the questions people type into Google.
- Quote form above the fold on mobile. Cleaning is often booked in a hurry.
- Bookings, if you take them. Even a simple preferred-date field beats phone tag.

Common questions
- Should a cleaning website publish prices?
- Yes - at least a from-price or an hourly range. Cleaning customers filter hard on price, and an unpriced site usually gets skipped rather than called.
- Do I need a separate page for bond cleaning?
- Definitely. It's the highest-intent search in the trade, the customer is on a deadline, and a dedicated page with a full inclusion list converts far better than a mention.
